Help for coaches and families
Show the Play is an offline-ready youth flag football playbook. A coach account lets your staff share one private team; guest mode remains available on one device.
Install it on a phone or iPad
Open the app link in Safari, tap Share, then choose Add to Home Screen. Open the new icon once before heading to the field so the app is ready without signal.
Set up your team
Choose Coach account, enter an adult coach email, then tap the secure link in that inbox. Create a team or accept an invitation. Each coach sees only teams they have joined.
Add assistant coaches
The team owner opens Team → Share → Invite a coach and sends the copied link. It expires in 14 days. The assistant signs in with an adult coach email and the team appears automatically.
Move or protect a team
Signed-in teams sync automatically. You can also open Team → Share → Save backup. Keep that file private: it contains the roster’s first names. Use Restore if a private backup is ever needed.
Send a parent view
Open Team → Share and use the parent link or QR code. The link contains a read-only first-name-only copy of the team setup. Send it only to team families. Parents choose their player and coach controls stay locked.
Something is not working
Open Team → Share → This app, describe what happened, and tap Share feedback details. The generated note includes the app version and screen size, but no roster or child data.
The printable playbook
The whole playbook as one web page you can print or read at the field: every play diagrammed, a call sheet, and each position's job written out. It has no scripts and needs no signal — if you have opened this app once, it is already on your phone.
